Health and Human Services
The San Diego County Board of Supervisors has adopted an innovative approach
to the delivery of health and social services by integrating them into a unified
service delivery system within the Agency. This system is family focused and
community based, reflective of business principles in which services are
delivered in a cost-effective and outcome-driven fashion. The Health and Human
Services Agency provides a broad range of health and social services, to promote
the safety, wellness and self-sufficiency that will lead to a better quality of
life for all sectors of the population.
The Agency Strategic Plan includes the following goals:
